What is Multinational Corporation

A multinational or transnational Corporations is a corporation which is working in more than two country. Its headquarters are located in one country and its carries on operations its home country and also has operations in foreign countries known as host countries.

According to Lernard Gomes

“A multinational corporations controls production facilities in more than one country, such facilities having been acquired through the process of direct foreign investment”.

Multinational companies are usually set their headquarters in their home country. From which international control is exercised. Multinational has big shares on their nation as well, they control big part of their industry.

There is no principal domicile and no one central sourse of power. Examples of transnational corporations include Royal Duch, Shell and Unilever.
