Democratic leadership is one of the commonly used leadership styles. But it suffers from many disadvantages such as:
- Lack of secrecy
- Delay in decision making
- Lengthy process
- Dissatisfaction among staff.
There are various disadvantages of democratic leadership such as hampering the decision-making process, develops a feeling of jealousy among the members of a team, and decreases employee performance as well as productivity.
