Saving is taking money that you already have and spending it on something in the future. Investment is using your money to create something new.

There is a big difference between saving and investing. The first word is simply the act of acquiring money in order to use it later on. The second word implies that you are making a long-term investment that you expect to grow over time.

There are differences between investments and savings. Investments are less liquid as compared to savings. Also, there is a high risk in investment as compared to savings.
