As the business environment is constantly changing there is a need to formulate new policies for development according to the new programme. They also help in meeting customer demands and attain higher performance standards as there is extensive competition in the Market. The HRD always aims at attaining global standards for the staff as well as the organisation to ensure long-term progress in an organisation.

Advancement in our careers happens every minute of our life. the HRD ensures that the personnel of the organisations are developed according to the career requirements and ensures they are competing with the skills needed to ensure the proper maintenance of jobs in the current scenario. They help in the elimination of the performance gap in the organisation by thriving the employees meet the standards set in the organisation.

There is an upgradation taking place in the job atmosphere of the employees. HRD ensures that the staff is ready for the new job they are in due to the result of job rotation, promotion etc. The new technological innovations that the organisation is forced to adopt might not be familiar to HR. HRD helps them to understand the mechanisms of the new technological advancements in the field of work.
