Marketing environments are usually made up of different components that work together to create the environment.
The components of marketing environment includes:
- Internal environment: which includes men, materials, machinery and money
- Micro environment: which includes shareholders, retailers, customers, suppliers, etc.
- Macro environment: which includes economic, social, technological, political and legal sources.
A marketing environment is made up of four different components that help to build a strong brand. These four components include the customer, the product, the market, and the company.
The customer is typically someone who has a need for a product or service. The product defines what it is and what it does; while the market is where it will be sold to consumers. Lastly, the company is who owns and produces the product and provides customer service for their consumers.
A marketing environment is an ecosystem for the marketing efforts of a company. It consists of multiple components that work together to make the marketing strategy successful.
A marketing environment can be divided into three different types:
- External environment - it is composed of external factors such as trends, competition, and customer needs
- Internal environment - it is composed of internal factors such as organizational culture, strategy, and leadership
- Social media environment - it is composed of social media influencers, social media trends, and community engagement
