Laissez-faire leadership is a very hands-off style of management. There are many disadvantages to this approach. For one, there is no clear communication from the leader to the team. This can lead to a lack of understanding and poor execution on the part of the team members. Another disadvantage is that there are no set goals for the team or any way to measure their success or failure against.
