The following are the different types of off-the-job training: 
  • Special lecture
  • Case study 
  • Vestibule training 
  • Management games

There are various types of off-the-job training methods. The most common is a case study. In this, a case is provided to an employee and he has to submit all the possible solutions. Another one is vestibule training in which the employee learns how to work on a real work floor.

Off-the-job training is one of the most common methods of training which includes: 
  • Training through special lectures in a classroom.
  • Training through various kinds of management games.
  • Training by simulation i.e., creating an artificial work environment.
